PrEP Trackr is a personal tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not replace your healthcare provider, your pharmacist, or your regular PrEP check-ins. It helps you keep track — that's all. Always follow your provider's guidance for your PrEP regimen.
Why this exists
PrEP is remarkably effective — but only when you actually take it. And keeping track of a daily medication, plus testing every 90 days, plus lab results, plus refills, across months and years, is harder than it sounds. It's easy to lose the thread.
PrEP Trackr was built to solve that problem. The first version was a personal project: a simple calendar to log doses and stay honest about adherence. It grew from there into something more complete — testing history, lab results, push reminders, a protection-window indicator.
The goal has always been the same: make it easier to stay on top of your health, privately, without handing your most sensitive data to an ad platform or a wellness company with unclear motives.
What PrEP Trackr is
- A personal dose log — with a calendar view, streak tracking, and adherence stats
- A testing reminder — tracks your 90-day HIV and STI check-in cycle
- A lab results journal — keep your numbers in one place for provider appointments
- A push notification system — reminders at the time that works for you
- A private web app — works on iPhone and Android via the browser, installs to your home screen
What PrEP Trackr is not
- Not a medical device. It is not FDA-cleared or regulated as medical software.
- Not a source of medical advice. Nothing in this app tells you what to take, when to stop, or whether you're at risk. Your healthcare provider does that.
- Not a substitute for regular PrEP care. You still need your quarterly HIV tests, STI screenings, and prescription renewals from a real provider.
- Not connected to your clinic or pharmacy. Data you enter here is not shared with any healthcare system.
Privacy is the whole point
Health data is personal. Especially data about HIV prevention. We built PrEP Trackr with a simple rule: your data belongs to you and no one else.
Row-level security
Your records are isolated at the database level. No other account can access your data.
No ads, no analytics
We don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics. We don't know what you click.
Delete anytime
Email us and we'll delete your account and every record associated with it. No questions.
Not for sale
We will never sell, license, or share your data with third parties. Full stop.

How it's built
PrEP Trackr is a progressive web app (PWA) — it runs in the browser and can be installed on your home screen like a native app, without going through an app store. It works on iPhone (Safari) and Android (Chrome).
The backend is Supabase, an open-source platform with built-in row-level security and Postgres under the hood. Push notifications use the Web Push API with VAPID keys — the same standard used by browsers and operating systems natively. There are no third-party SDKs involved in the push pipeline.
The app is free to use. If you'd like to support it, the best thing you can do is tell someone who'd benefit from it.
