By creating an account or using PrEP Trackr ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the Service.
2. Description of the Service
PrEP Trackr is a personal health tracking application for people taking PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) for HIV prevention. It allows users to log dose intake, track testing schedules, record lab results, and receive reminder notifications.
The Service is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use. It is not a clinical tool, it is not regulated as a medical device, and it is not connected to any healthcare system or pharmacy.
3. No medical advice
The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Content within the app and on this website is for informational and personal tracking purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical judgment.
You are solely responsible for your health decisions. PrEP Trackr does not review, evaluate, or endorse any medical decisions you make based on data you enter into the app. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for guidance on your PrEP regimen, missed doses, side effects, or any health concerns.
4. Eligibility and account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
- Submit false information that could mislead us or other users
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data you enter will be retained indefinitely.
We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the Service for any medical purpose. The Service is a personal tracking aid, not a safety-critical system.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PrEP Trackr and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including but not limited to health outcomes, data loss, or any decision made in reliance on information in the app.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for a free service, is zero).
8. Account termination
You may delete your account at any time by emailing support@preptrackr.app. All your data will be permanently deleted.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or compromise the security of the Service or other users.
9. Changes to the Service and terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notifying active users by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without liability.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PrEP Trackr operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts of that jurisdiction.
